MASA MTS (Medical Transport Solutions)

Each year the predictability of the number of emergent and non-emergent transports in a given group is relatively up and down like a roller coaster. MASA MTS provides an affordable solution to close this crucial gap. The rates are $10 per employee per month for the Emergent Plus plan and if employees want to upgrade to the Platinum plan it is an additional $25 or (total $35 monthly).

For more information and to enroll, check out MASA MTS.

Cash-In-Lieu of Medical Insurance

If you CURRENTLY have Cash-In-Lieu you will not need to make an appointment to re-enroll unless you are making changes to your dental or vision coverage. You can complete the CIL Form/Declination of Coverage through the BCC Website beginning Thursday, October 6th and ending Thursday, October 20th.

If you are not currently receiving the Cash-In-Lieu benefit and would like to enroll for the 2023 year, please visit the BCC Website to submit the form.

There's an App for That!

Our Health, Dental and Vision providers each have apps available for download.

Our third-party administrator, Alliant, has created an employee benefit app called BEN-IQ. The app provides an overview of what the County offers, what services and procedures are covered, annual deductibles, and includes a cost of coverage calculator. Look for the little Einstien and download the app.
